It was an honor for our team at Numalis led by @Arnault Ioualalen to work for two years on this project with experts from the MLEAP consortium (LNE, Airbus Protect, EASA).
???? This research project, conducted by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and funded by Horizon Europe, is aimed at identifying concrete means of compliance for the ‘Learning Assurance’ block of the EASA AI Concept Paper Issue 2 and delves into the approval of machine learning (ML) technology for safety-related applications across various domains.
We explore three main technical axis:
– Data representativeness (LNE)
– Generalisation guarantee (Airbus Protect)
– Model and learning algorithm robustness and guarantee (Numalis)
Mark your calendars for 3 July 2024!
We will present the final results of the MLEAP project during the EASA Artificial Intelligence Days – High-Level Conference 2024 at EASA GQ in Cologne or virtually.
Don’t miss it and register here: https://www.easa.europa.eu/en/newsroom-and-events/events/easa-artificial-intelligence-days-high-level-conference-2024
Thank you to everyone who were able to make the project happen. For two years, we all contributed with resolution and hard-work to the streamlining of the certification process.
